What is LAN you may ask? LAN stands for Local Area Network; basically Xbox 360's are hooked up together (or occasionally wireless) to be played solely with the other members that have tapped into the same LAN connection. EMERGE is always trying to enhance your gaming experience in-party as well as in the tournament setting.
When is EMERGE?
There are frequent events happening with EMERGE and special events on holidays and other special occasions.
Events are typically run on Fridays or Saturdays from around 3pm to midnight. However, time varies according to the date, so keep updated. In the future EMERGE is planning on doing some all-night events and some two day events.
Where can I attend EMERGE?
You can attend EMERGE at various locations. As of now there isn't a set place to attend yet, but keep updated, location will be announced in the event info.

How much does it cost to get into EMERGE?
It typically costs around $5 dollars to get into EMERGE for a full event. Tournaments + LAN Party will cost $6 dollars to buy into. The benefit to joining in on Tournaments will be that upon winning, you will receive certain random prizes.
Is there an age restriction?
There is no age restriction to attend EMERGE, everyone, near and far, is welcome.
How much are concessions?
With every ticket into an EMERGE event, some concessions come along with it. But, not all are free (i.e. One slice of pizza, a cookie and a drink could come with your ticket, but an extra slice of pizza will cost another dollar). You can bring your own food if that suits you.

- Monitor or smaller TV (Usually no bigger than 48")
- An Ethernet cable (the longest one you have preferably) to hook into the LAN
- Various Games compatible with LAN (System Link)
- (If you are going to be in a set Tournament, you will need to bring the game associated with that

LAN Parties
One of the main exhilarating events at EMERGE is the famous LAN party. Bring in your 360, hook up to the network, and jump into a chaotic, fun game playing time. To tap into the network is easy; EMERGE uses network switches connected through a hard wired Ethernet cable connection. Once you pop in your game of choice, hook into the specified port on the switch, you are set to play with whom ever you please at the LAN party.

NOTICE: Games played must have the same version [updates] for connectivity to other Xbox 360's, preferably the newest updates. Generally any System Link (LAN) friendly game out there will work great! (So long as you have some buddies that plan on playing along with you). |

Tournaments
There is typically at least one Tournament at every EMERGE event; the game being played in the Tournament varies.
In other future events there will be many Tournaments with different games and modes.
In every EMERGE Tournament, there will be prizes awarded for winners. (prizes vary)

EMERGE will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to any electronic equipment that any participant brings. By attending an EMERGE event, you vow to treat everyone's (including yours) electronics and everybody as a person with respect. Failure to comply with these rules can and will get you ejected from the EMERGE event. Thanks.
